he has made everything beautiful in its time

he has also set eternity in the minds of men;

yet they cannot fathom what God has done

from beginning to end.

ecclesiastes 3:11

A new year...

God is amazing, i am so excited to see what He is doing in my life and the lives of those i love. He is there, even if the growing hurts.

ya ever have that really good, really tired feeling?

camp is awesome, i could live there, no really, i could...

what an incredible privledge to share the plan of salvation with a little kid and see that moment when God turns the light on in their heart!

i miss everyone...

and VanDiver really did catch on fire, my room was the one that burned...oh the irony....

so if you have free time and you just happen to spy a stamp and envelope lying around it's:

Rebecca Nigh

1242 Old Blue Creek Rd

Cleveland GA 30528 : )

and my team lost to Daniel's this week; i got lake mudded, egged and had to eat anchovies all in the space of three days.  we put up a good fight though, and our cheers were cooler...Go Army Rangers : )

so i've been working here a lot since i left school, i'm really thankful that i have a job with people that love the Lord who let me work whenever i can.

if you're getting married anytime in the near future, like in the next week before i leave for camp,  you should let Streetside cater your wedding, if you do, i will get to make these (only better) for your refreshments.  i dipped so many strawberries in chocolate yesterday, and tragically several (and by several i mean a scandalously large amount) did not meet my high culinary standards and i was forced to eat them. so if you see me, do not even mention strawberries or chocolate, please.  but decorating them was super fun; they said i have mad culinary skills and i should just come work for them, paul, the owner, said it was God's will..."really?" i said, "and all this time i'd been wondering, it's all so clear now..."

but i have this to look forward to in just 9 SHORT DAYS!!!  so i had to decline...

in other news: we're reading 1 John this summer at camp!!!!  i can't tell you how excited i was when i read this, i screamed with all the joy in my little heart.  this is one of the books that God has really used to grow me in my walk w/ him and i can't wait to share it with the campers i'm gonna have this summer! and its really cool, how i already love all of the girls that are gonna be in my cabin this summer, ( even the little devil children that i know i'm gonna have ) i can't wait to meet them!

i have to buy a pair of camo shorts before the 22nd, our theme this summer is "behind enemy lines." sweet theme...

i babysat for two of the cutest kids last night (normally i would insert a few pictures of them here so you could agree with me on their cuteness, but my camera is somewhere in the frozen North, far away across the mackinaw bridge at some graduation ceremony, so i can't...)

so after we got off our pirate ship/porch swing, we sat down to some cooco puffs and pizza for dinner (edit: we had just talked about how God was bigger and stronger than anything, 'cause Jack, he's a very smart 2 years old, had remarked how God was bigger than even the whale we had just seen off the starboard side) and i asked Karson, she's 4, to pray, this is what i can remember of her very sincere 4 year-old prayer:

"Jesus, you are big and most powerful,

we just love you and i hope you are doing well,

you are precious God

( :edit: she said something about Him being bigger than elephants in a very dramatic tone

of voice)

and i just want to hug you right now."

right on Karson

this same child remarked to me that they weren't allowed to say the word 'sexy' and they especially weren't allowed to call their Granma Vicky sexy.... ahahahaha, they would....

to all of the people, i have not hung out with because i've been working, i'm sorry! i have this next weekend off, we'll do fun things, promise.

i miss North Greenville  (the people that is...)

love
